I have now been on two Pilates retreats with Sarah and both have been excellent. She is an exceptionally good teacher; very exact in her instructions and highly observant. She is quick to correct even the subtlest misalignment during the exercises. She pushes you hard, but has such a warm and lovely manner that it is all a pleasure. The hotels she chooses are impeccable; small, supremely comfortable and tasteful, with wonderful food and personal service. The group has always felt very relaxed, but also very interesting. Sandy's massages are the 'icing on the cake'. If I can, I will make this retreat an annual treat.

ays for pilates again this year. Every time we visit Es-Castell we are treated like Kings and Queens. Every attention to detail has been considered by our host and hostess James and Paola.

Es Castell has been voted one of the 10 most prettiest hotels in Majorca. Here, the silence is only broken by the hum of cicasas during the day and the far-away tinkling of sheep bells at night.

Located at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains in North East Mallorca, near the village of Caimari, agriculture and tourism co-exist here, the main buildings of the hotel and farm being surrounded by acres of olive, organge, lemon, fig and almond trees.
