Happy November all of you. I hope you enjoyed firework night. I completed my last retreat of the year with a really fun group. I didn’t want to come home from Majorca this time. The sun shone down on us the whole weekend. It was truly sunbathing weather in between pilates and massage!
I can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas and so far I’ve had a very busy November! Here goes….
1. Miller Howe, Lake District 2010
2. Majorca dates 2010
3. New House in Majorca for group use.
4. Twitter
5. Sweaty Betty Ambassador
6. SarahPilates DVD – A great Christmas present
7. Pilates class or voucher for Christmas.
8. Ronald Huntley – Energy body work.
Well, it’s becoming cold, wet and windy. Just think of planning your next year holidays with a Pilates retreat in Majorca or perhaps take a chance on my latest retreat in the Lake District, Miller Howe. I am so excited to be able to use Miller Howe next May. Monday 3rd May until Thursday 6th. All now confirmed. The hotel overlooks Lake Windermere and Nigel has promised to include a wine tasting evening over the last dinner.
Majorca dates have now been set for
Friday March 19th to Monday 22nd &
Friday 22nd to Monday 25th October 2010.
On top of that, Es-Castell have taken on a really modern and authentic house with a large outdoor pool close to Es-Castell. The house has 8 double bedrooms and I can take it over any time of the year. I will budget according to my group, so if you have a group of friends/ family and you want a luxurious house in Majorca with Pilates and Massage, maybe bike riding and various other options, ask me to budget for your needs.
You can now find me on twitter. Please go and find me, and start following me. The name to search is sarahpilates!
I have also just become an Ambassador for Sweaty Betty, which means I try on their clothes and feedback on them and hopefully my comments will make a difference to future Sweaty Betty designs. I love the new season’s clothes. I will be putting photos on my blog very soon.
Sarahpilates DVD. I have finally, with the help of filmmaker, Michael Slowe (who made the recent “Making of Three to Tango”film that I was in) completed my DVD. Pilates Colleague and friend Ronelle Solomon is my student in this 45 minute DVD. A big thank you to Ronelle for making the filming so quick and professional. A MASSIVE thank you to Michael for his time and effort. The filming took place in my cute little studio early one Sunday morning with lots of coffee. I hope to have the DVD ready to sell over the next few weeks – so a nice Christmas present perhaps? Get ready to put in your orders. I haven’t done the sleeve artwork yet. If any of you are good at that and want to get involved, please step forward!
If you are thinking of buying someone a different present this Christmas, maybe a Pilates gift voucher towards a retreat or one to one session would be nice. Any denominations can be purchased.
So that’s it for November. Lots more in December. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to meeting up with the lovely Rebecca Leone at the end of the month along with other Pilates teachers who will be attending her workshop.
I am also hoping to run workshops next year with physiotherapist, Ronald Huntley who works on Myofascial release techniques. Ron has been treating a close friend of mine and recently I have also had a session with him. His approach and experience in this area are so on the ball. If you are struggling to improve from your own back/ neck injuries, I can HIGHLY recommend your visit to see Ron for your own needs.
www.sarahpilates.com Sarah teaches one to one pilates classes in Belsize Park, London and runs Pilates holidays around the globe.
