How exciting! I have been asked to do some live yoga modelling on Saturday afternoon at the 125 Kings Rd Store. I will be wearing a gorgeous Sweaty Betty Outfit (grey control leggings, grey yoga bra, white poise vest and the neon orange reflect tee). If you are passing that way, see you then! Photos will be posted next week.

With the amount I talk about Face Yoga on my blog, I thought I would give you an exercise to try at home. This exercise is great for toning the area around the eyes, lifting the upper eye lids, and reducing bags under the eyes.
Flirty Eyes
Cover your teeth with your lips and then make your mouth into an ‘O’ shape, pulling your top and bottom lip as far away from each other as you can. Then place your index fingers under your eyes, horizontally with the tips of your fingers pointing towards your nose. Then look upwards and start to flutter your upper eyes lids.. Keep this going for 30 seconds. The only part of your body that should move is your upper eyelids.
If you love this exercise and would like to try more, take a look at my website in the next few weeks as some great new face yoga products will be available to purchase, including a step by step colour photograph wall chart of all the exercises. www.faceyogatraining.com

All Sports Bra £25
I just love this sports bra as it looks like a cute crop top and can be layered with racer back tops. I wore the blue for a photo shoot I did last week. The neon shades are perfect to add a glimpse of colour through vests and sheer t shirts. For running it is essential to wear a well fitting sports bra to provide adequate support so layer this one under your sweat wicking vest and jacket.

Sitting side stretch
This is such a calming stretch that can be addded to your yoga practice or done after your workout in the gym. Try out this pose if you are looking to tone and strengthen your waist, release tension from your shoulders and neck and build hip flexibility. It is an especially good pose for pregnancy as it opens the pelvis. Hold for 5 breaths each side.

Camel Pose
The Camel Pose is excellent for strengthening the spine, opening the chest and toning the thighs. If you spend a lot of time sat down it is a great pose to move the spine in the opposite direction, therefore giving you better posture in everyday life. The camel pose can be done as a level 1 or level 2. Only attempt level 2 if you know your back is strong enough.

Today is an exciting day for Bath as Amy Williams, our only gold medal winner in the Winter Olympics is coming home to Bath. I have just come back from teaching a Pilates class at the University of Bath Sports Training Village, where Amy trains and they are all so excited about her arrival today. Amy's dedication to her sport is a big inspriation for Bath, the country and the world. Well done Amy!

I love teaching the Yoga class at the Bath boutique. I am also very lucky to teach many other classes around Bath as well as doing one to one training in Bath and London. With all this teaching it is so inspiring for me to go to a class and to be taught myself! For the last few weeks I have been going to the Bath boutiques' 'Abs' class with Karen. It is such an energising class as it works on every area of your abdominals and uses many pilates techniques as well as traditional ab exercises. The best bit of the class is the health tip we are given at the end. You leave the class feeling great...and with abs of steel!

Full body stretch
Whilst this is not a traditional yoga pose, it is a great addition to your yoga practice. After you practice standing poses, or any deep forward or back bends, try using this stretch. It opens up the spine, releases tight shoulders and stretches the neck. Even if you only have time just to do one stretch each day, have a a go at this one, it will leave you feeling more open and energised. To make it more challenging, try lifting up your heels off the floor whilst you stretch. This will improve your balance and core stability.
